Oh yes. Nothing incredibly spectacular has happened yet. Nope. Although, I did manage to spill some lavender-ish paint on my shoes and the bottom part of my pants. Work is paying to replace them though so it’s not so bad. I wonder if there will be a week where they don’t ask me to stay late or come in on my day off to work some extra hours.

As it is, they keep making me learn something new which I don’t really care for. My job should be simple. Maybe they should hire people specifically to help out with Customer Service instead of training me to do it. I don’t like it. And I don’t get paid enough to do that. Or perhaps I should just get another job.

And to end this post, I need to eat lunch.

Philadelphia sure is giving Dallas a run for their money. But I have confidence that Dallas will make a comeback. Not a huge win though. Something like 13-10 or maybe 17-14. I’m still waiting for someone to take down the Patriots though. Seriously.

And as I type this, I can feel Dallas getting their groove back. =]
We’ll see.

It would be great if they win. As it’s my brother’s birthday.

Edit: Okay, so Dallas lost. :/ Too bad.

Oh yes, not more than 10 minutes ago, my brand new camera arrived. It’s a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50.

I’m definitely excited to have it. I plan on trying it out tonight after class. It also came with a telephoto lens and a macro lens, a tripod, and an extra battery.

It’s really, really pretty.

Today is colder than a pop-cicle in snow. Just got back from class (boring as usual, pft) and decided to get cozy before I have to pick up my mom. Anyways, Bee Season is on HBO. Richard Gere has such great hair for an old guy. I need his hair stylist.

Also, the Prince of Egypt has been airing on HBO recently. It’s my second favorite animated movie next to The Lion King. I love the opening songs for both. They’re just so damn good.

I’ve officially had this domain for over a year and I’ve barely updated it.

Jeez, I sure know how to waste money.

Christmas didn’t feel like Christmas this year, despite the fact there were more toys than ever this year for the first time in a while. I don’t know, it just feels like a family pit stop at a gas station. Man, how pathetic is that?

Tsk, winter-break is almost over. I don’t feel like going back to school, but I must persevere somehow… neh. Winter is definitely a lazy season. I mean, what better symbol do you need than a bear hibernating for a couple of months?

… is pure gold. Glad I discovered them just the other day.

So it’s officially fall and classes have started now… I don’t know why people cringe at the sound of “Art Appreciation”, but it’s actually a really cool class. It gives you some insights into the development of our cultures. Other than that, my other classes don’t seem to interest me as much. Even Drawing I, which you’d think I would be. This class will probably have me busier than Comp/Rhetoric… no, I take that back. English requires something like 15 lab hours which is extra time outside of class I don’t feel like investing. Damn, I’m lazy.

I was advised not to take night classes, but I really enjoy them. I feel most awake at this time of day anyway.

I wonder if there are varying degrees of insomnia. And if there isn’t, I say we label them like we do cigarettes.

Ultra Light 100’s would be classifed by the occasional sleepless night at least twice a week or 4-7 times a month. Sounds rational don’t you think? Lights would be around 3-4 sleepless nights a week, and at least 10 nights a month. Regular 100’s would be the sleepers who sleep for maybe an hour or two, wake up, and can no longer fall back to sleep despite extreme exhaustion. This occurs almost every night. It’s a bad habit.

But if you see it like I do, I just say we’re all addicted to being awake. Just like the smokers who are addicted to nicotine that never notice that they’re lighting up. ;]

Seriously, artist-block is one huge brick wall. But also, the summer is kind of boring. Boy is it ever… hmm. Long time no update, eh?

Registered for classes today. Not sure what to expect from college but life’s full of un-expectancies (i.e: pregnancy, flat tires, food cravings). I need more sleep.

Finished a couple of traditional pieces (in pen). Mostly portraits of random people I’ve come across on the internet.

Also, one portrait of one of my favorite musicians, OLIVIA. Great stuff. =]
